What is Kater?
Kater is a fresh new startup located in Surrey, B.C. With an app launched March 2016, Kater wants users to make use of an asset they already have – their own vehicle – to get exactly where they need to go without having to deal with the hassles and costs of driving. The comprehensive Kater app allows customers to easily hire a personal chauffeur to drive them in their own car.
Since March we have had a steady growth in number of trips booked, our user retention rate is 93%, and as we shift from our beta testing stage to our official launch we look to expand to other Canadian cities and beyond within the year.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative/Driver Onboarding Trainer with excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a trainer, you would conduct and facilitate Kater’s Driver Onboarding, communicate changes/service updates to drivers, and assist in designing/developing training programs.
As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities include day to day customer service tasks including answering calls/e-mails, basic app troubleshooting with clients, and upholding high customer service standards.

We are a growing local technology company and are looking for a motivated individual who is looking to learn and gain lots of experience. Here are some key skills you are expected to have:
- 1-2 years of experience as a trainer
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Assist in designing/delivering training programs during driver onboarding
- Answering questions about the service/training content
- Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/MS Office
- Professional, positive, and can-do attitude
